On Tuesday 24 May Room 5 went on a field trip to Woodside Glen and Outram Glen. We took samples from both rivers to look at the health of the waterway as part of our 'Our River' inquiry topic. Nic from the Otago Regional Council showed us how to take samples and measurements. We looked at the conductivity, temperature, the pH, the flow, the clarity of the water and what was living in the water. We will now look at our results and make some comparisons.
